Balayage is a French word for sweep. The color is deployed in a sweeping motion and in chunkier sections, making the hair naturally lightened with less saturation than typical highlights. The regrowth lines are less noticeable, as the hair will look just as good whether it's one week or one month from your initial salon appointment.
